My Journey of Becoming an Art Teacher
When I first began teaching art, I was about 18. I knew I loved art, and I knew I had a desire to inspire others.
I did not have a studio at the time, so I began with advertising 1-1 private lessons with youth in community spaces. We would paint, draw and talk about art!
After a year of consistent art lessons, I got a small studio space in town and people were able to come to my studio and paint or draw with me.
These art lessons were what I looked forward to. They were my drive for life, and fueled my passion for creativity and connection.
